Dr. Madhav Mehra is an internationally renowned management visionary, futuristic thinker and a corporate guru. He is the President, World Council for Corporate Governance, a UK based network of organizations worldwide committed to improving the quality of corporate governance.
Dr. Madhav Mehra is also the Chairman of World Council, a body constituted by 52 national and international quality associations to promote, oversee and co-ordinate quality activities across national and governance. His unique contribution stems from the powerful coalition of reformers that he has been able to create worldwide of quality, management, social, environment and political thinkers for constructive engagement between government, business and civil society with a view to bridging the gap between precept and practice which has long been prevalent.
In his current role he is advising national governments and multinational corporations on how all development can be made environmentally sustainable and how transparency, accountability, equity and social responsibility in the governance processes can bring about both economic and social transformation.
Dr. Mehra has been involved with Quality. Environment and governance activities and initiatives for the past three decades and hold the following positions in the international arena :
