Super Innovation
Environment Foundation- Hariyali, March 2001
Challenge lies in innovating products and services
that will enhance long term customer satisfaction, fulfill our
unexpected wishes, serve unarticulated markets while radically
reducing the environment impact. What is relevant is not Total
Quality Management (TQM) but Total Eco-Efficient Management
(TEEM)
The fossil fuel based, consumption oriented
automobile centered, western model with throwaway products that
so dramatically improved our standards is inadequate to meet
the aspirations of 8 billion people that we project in the second
decade of the 21st century.
The role of innovation in realizing India’s
dream is so enormous that it is well worth to have a department
for management of innovation whose main task will be to create
a national culture of innovation and become a clearing house
for innovations and disseminating them far and wide in the country.
